The Hosna Identity
We are the Qabeelat Hosna, the Tribe of Goodness. Our roots go back to 2003 when we hosted our first seminar The Code of Scholars: Usool Al-Fiqh taught by Shaykh Muhammad Ashareef. Since our first seminar the student size has grown tremendously, with up to 450 students registering for the Fiqh of Love: Marriage in Islam seminar in 2005 with Sh. Yasir Birjas.
Five years later, Qabeelat Hosna is still the largest student body in the South. With focus on inviting more and more Muslims to learn about their deen, we strive for acadimic perfection. With classrooms that are well equipt with audio and visual equipment, state of the art PowerPoint presentations, and well educated Shaykhs, Hosna stand as the leading entity in this realm of Islamic eduaction in Houston, Texas.
With this in mind, Qabeelat Hosna also emphasizes on the implementation of what we learn to our practicle day to day life in America. In the last few years, Hosna sponsered various projects that are well organized and highly effective. Please visit our Projects page for more details.
